Would that be by end of day or must one buy it tomorrow? Also, do you think the distribution will be accompanied by the decision on the dist-cut going forward?
YOu have to buy it before the ex-dividend date to get the distribution. But, you do know that NRGY will drop by about the amount of the distribution on the open on ex-dividend date so it will be a wash? Typically a high yield stock also starts a downward slide on ex-dividend date. NRGY has come down so much that might not happen.
yes, they seem to be leaving the divvie on the table with high volumes. On the contrary, look at FE. They are popping hard and are to also go ex-div for the 5% yielder tomorrow. Unfortunate NRGY doesn't seem to have that momo.
