Agreed. Talked to IR a couple weeks ago and they told me that the 2013 blender tax credits can be collected on an ongoing basis throughout this year, so the proceeds are not delayed until the end of the year.
They will receive the blender credits for 2012($58M) in the first half of 2013(any time from now on).
They will receive the blender credits for 2013(around $71M depends on the real production) most likely at the beginning of 2014.
It could be a Buffet stock because the premises are simple. Use the blender credit to expand production and keep debt low. It is and will continue to be the biodiesel industry leader and when their multifeedstock concept is in place in all the facilities that it makes sense, the company will produce a good profit without any blender credit and will be a cash flow cow that allows it to continue selected expansion funded internally. Biodiesel is here to stay in a big way ! !
