One thing that came out of the CC seemingly without too much notice is the fact that most of the GAS's in the field will be upgraded for paired-end reads, at $100K a pop. Also, new instruments will be sold with paired-end read capability at $450K-$500K apiece. Seems like that will be quite a revenue kicker for 2008. I wonder why this point didn't attract more attention.
As for the after-hours trading, who knows? I've seen it do squirrelly things in the past. I'm happy with the CC.
