The weekly premiums are not a big deal, most of us would not mind paying a little bit. The problem is they want to reduce our benefits and increase our out of pocket across the board. Including our deductible, co-pays prescriptiions, and out of pocket maximums. They add up to as much as $10,000 when the employees are making and average of $24,000 a year. We have forgone raises in the past to maintain our healthcare, and now they are coming to destroy that too.
Interesting. I sure hope he was not on SSI when he got married and had children. IMHO if you can't support a family and children don't get involved in one. Oh, I forgot, America owes everone a good living. Too many especially the younger generation simply don't want to work or get a job where you do have to work. No, let the illegals have those jobs. Somehow, the liberals in this country have made it so that America owes then a free college education, free healthcare, free food, unemployment for life and a good retirement package. You know, strangely that sounds a lot like some unions.
I'm on medicare and notice my out-of-pocket has gone to 6,700 now. My co-pay has increased as well....I suspect all of us no matter what kind of coverage we have will be increasing annually...Healthcare is out of control with 30% of my income going to healthcare alone..
