Casio and Sumitomo Electric Industries just choose Novell as their provider for Xen Virtualization software. Casio says that the costs of the Suse Linux Enterprise Software is only 10 percent of competitors solutions. Could Novell, which cooperates with Microsoft be a possible competitor to VMware? Does anyone have an further insight on this?
The majority of Novell's software serves no purpose and is only used by companies because Novell's salesforce is very adept at working executives. If anything the only good that comes from Novell's software is increased positions for IT personel and computer sales (the moment Novell touches a computer system you can say goodbye to half of its performance, instantly)
