guys does anybody know for sure if vmw beats earnings and how ya know?
Personally, I don't think there is a snowball's chance in hell that they miss. A day doesn't go by where I don't here the name VMware involved in some conversation. I have tons of friends who work for F500 companies who are all implementing the technology in some form. Even the hospital where I work uses it in workstation environments. This technology is the real deal and VMW is the only game around. Ask an IT guy if he has been to VMW training yet? He either already has or is going.
How much will they beat? That's anyone's guess, but I wouldn't be surprised if they doubled.
That's the thing with VMW. The difference between their products now and 3-5 years ago are astounding. They have become more broad-based in their scope. They have solutions for the home-user all the way up to large enterprise. Before, VMW was strictly known for personal OS desktop emulation.
