I suspect the market to be in another selloff mode due to OPEC's annoucement not to increase production capacity. Read my posts and analysis on how the OPEC decision will effect inflation and next FED meeting come Dec.
Also, on Friday...we see that the MM have tried to take the market higher while forcing put option holders to release their options. Historically...when the market went up on option expiration date, the market will go the opposite direction, which is down BIG to force call option holders to release options.
With both indication, I see market selloff again on Monday and continue to selloff all next week.
Sorry for the bad news, but you can see this as a buying opportunity or a short opportunity to offset your long position losses.
Dear Shorty, I have suspected for a while now that your name is a clue as to your position. You have just completed "shortS" 101. Bashers typically, (good ones that is) Spend a lot of time cultivating the trust of the board. Giving and acknowledging info even cheering on the longs. Then at a precise time,(whenever the short/ basher thinks he has won the trust of the board he magnanimously "alert" The rest as to impending doom and encourages all to sell. So you have done a fabulous job but I for one and I hope all others, have not been taken in by your game. Good Luck to you, I admit you are talented but you haven't fooled me. Further more, if we do lose some points then it is just an opportunity to get more shares at a better price.
Pideypo, I think Shorty is a good guy. He looked up that Canadian solar stock for that regular poster. Shorty is just posting his trading style. He said he likes VMW, just not next week...his "tool" is telling him that there will be an "oil crisis".
I can understand his style. He is a short term trader by nature. Shorty likes action. I really think he means NO ill will.
These boards do not come close to moving a stock. Shorty's 5000 shares are a drop in the bucket to the market. And they are his shares.
I like Shorty, good sense of humor & honest, he does not have to tell anyone he is selling, but he did...that is a good trait.
The only bad thing Shorty did was chase that biologist lady away!
Thanks shorty. You have always been generous with your information. Monday will tell a lot. I'm going to watch the market moves at the open...and go from there. Gotta watchout for a head-fake Good luck to you.
