the float is 77 million and only 4% of that is available for trade
EMC has been buying about 100,000 shares per day and the daily volume is now down to normal at 2.3 million shares.
it is just a matter of time until the share price trades above $80. but again, the more EMC can buy at this level the better. if you have the option to add to your position here that might be wise. last time the share price dropped below $80 (in 2011) it stayed there for two weeks and jumped to $85 a week later.
management has said that the growth will re-accelerate in the second half of 2013 at 20%+. This is the same management that delivered 22% last quarter while the GDP was negative.
