Just published article on a study comparing Otrexup to oral administration. Bottom line: bloodstream levels top out at 15 mg oral and pretty much don't go higher. For injection the bloodstream levels go up linearly with increased dosage. Now doctors will almost HAVE to use the injector to raise levels of Methotrexate in the patient. This may be a big deal !!
Lady.domina2........You beat me to it :) Also, there is more and more chatter on RA forum boards about OTREXUP and its uses. How can anyone view this as a bad thing? Waiting for a couple QRT's of revenue numbers and the stock SHOULD start to perform like I know it can.
If the Annals of Rheumatic Disease is considered authoritative it may help Otrexup become the new standard of care. If that happens then yes - the doctors will have to use Otrexup so as to not fall below the standard of care (which is not good for the doctors - (trust - me I know this)).
