I think the more sensible reason for this meeting is to seek Pfizer for the advice, and experience related to the investigation. Pfizer and Amgen are competitors after all and it's in Pfizer's interest to help Affymax. Tha'ts what I think it's about. Has nothing to do with buyout or non-sense like that.
and why would PFE care less?? and meet to help AFFY? what else can they suggest ? AFFY already recalled all the drug--you are farting thru your mouth on this one, bro!!! you have got to be short in diguise--another double agent. .lol..
Are you kidding, credible website? This is a typical pumb and dumb tactic. If anyone wants to buy this very troubled company at this point it would be Takeda who would know all there is to know about the deaths and why they occurred. If the problem is not omontys, and with the European ruling on approval still pending, why would they talk to anybody other than Takeda? This issue is not going to be resolved anytime soon and with all the greedy lawyers lining up to class action sue, no credible company like Pfizer would waste their time!
I don't understand the timing of this supposed meeting. Shouldn't the focus be on the investigation? Why would you even entertain such an idea without knowing what caused the problem? How do you even valuate what Affy is worth, considering what just happened and its possible causes.
