When I mentioned yesterday that I went ALL IN somebody here had said good luck but that I did not have a brain to which I had responded I did not do this based on luck but based on a complete and through evaluation of all the facts.
Sure I know what the stupid Fools are saying and what some other pundits and posters here are saying. But one thing I have learned in my nearly 2 decades of trading is that read all the posts and analysis you can but base you final decision based on your own research and instincts.
I have been pounding the table that recalling such a drug based on PREVENTABLE allergic reactions and PREVENTABLE (Epi shot) only 3 deaths after over 25000 patients had benefited from it without any deaths does not sound right specially that all those reactions happened over just days before the recall in February and the first 11 MONTHS was uneventful.
Now if you are short and you want to brain wash yourself that is fine but read above statement again and again and again and you'll start realizing the main and #1 issue here: the first 25000 did well...Why suddenly 3 deaths? Also even those 3 deaths among such ill renal failure patients after 25000 usage is a very small number.
and sure the incompetent and most likely corrupt management may try to destroy the share price so they can sell the company on the cheap in return for a lucrative package for this incompetent management but why are you folks falling for it? Don't you all have a brain of your own and eyes of your own to look at the facts and make a rational judgement?
Would you pull this drug under above circumstances and then talk about BK all the while there has not been a shred of evidence that this drug was at fault to begin with and the investigation is still going on? And like I said even if it was the drugs fault those are very small numbers with 100% preventable at first signs of reaction with a small dose of epi.

A good one. Can shere holders ask for a special meeting on the issue?
Even runs out cash, it will be easy to have banks to support Affymax.
Poor laid-off employees. They lost job, and maybe options.
I suspect we'll be back at yesterday morning's $3 and possibly even to 4-5 in very near future and without any further news from the company once people realize the managements bs and ulterior motive in crashing it from 3 to 1 yesterday and once people realize Omontys's huge future potential and the fact that it is coming back to market (see today's Seeking Alpha article).
But then beyond $4-5 one would have to wait for some solid news from the company. Based on time horizon they give (I would not depend on their assessment of the future revenues as this management is coward and always seem to give the worst possible gloomy appraisal of things). If Affymax works closely with FDA and the plan and the time horizon put forward is professionally done I see the stock rise into high single digits but I am afraid before we hit double digit and beyond that the market will await for some actual revenue numbers.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
The drug is cheaper and only administed monthly rather than at each visit. I think you are onto something here. I would like to know were adverse incidents all at one clinic and done by the same person?
very rightly said,
''.....talk about BK all the while there has not been a shred of evidence that this drug was at fault to begin with and the investigation is still going on? ....''
management has done worst than someone could ever do
