After considerable reading and thinking I am going to
liquidate majority in the a.m. if not all of it. I just can't see them surviving for any reason, looks like this CEO is saving his own butt only. I will take a huge loss in the process, but what can I do?
that would not be a good decision for the time being. The volatility will die down. I am not sure how positive news was misconstrued in such a way but it would not be wise to liquidate yet. There is a nice bump left in this and it depends on the announcement of TAKEDA's research into the reactions. Given TAKEDAs vast resources, it should not take that long and AFFY will be able to survive in the short term. However, my position is very close a dollar average and i can afford to lose this capital without too much afterthought. If you do bail, Check out MNKD, its been very profitable for me and it has a strong long term potential.
