They all have problems but continue to exist:

Use Of Triptans Contraindicated In 5 Million Americans.
Medscape (7/3, Anderson) reported that nearly “five million Americans with episodic migraine (EM) should not be prescribed a triptan... because of the presence of cardiovascular contraindications,” according to a study presented at the International Headache Congress. Study co-investigator Dawn Buse, PhD, associate professor of neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, said the results “highlight an area of unmet need for acute migraine treatment without cardiovascular risk and contraindications,” which as the senior population grows, older migraine patients “with cardiovascular events, conditions, and procedures will likely increase, and the resulting unmet need will increase.”
