As opposed to expert amateurs or amateur professionals ? I have been along for the ride with AFFY for a bit over a year . Being a long time investor I simply consider this company snakebit but have stayed in figuring from here on out it's roll of the dice . I generally don't post but often find boards useful as a source to glean information . I did find it rather odd however that Alpha would have allowed yesterdays commentary which was obviously slanted and unsourced by someone holding a short position . Allowing such a post is at least unethical , damaging to the sites credibility and possibly justification for legal action . I also don't understand the shorts on this board . Anyone who would short a stock or waste their time bashing at this low price point but with potential ( however slight ) for an upward explosion is in my opinion an idiot , certainly not someone to be taken seriously . I just couldn't resist after that silliness yesterday , hopefully some actual useful information will be forthcoming .
It is interesting their is no editorial back checking for some of the claims in articles such as yesterdays. Job one would be checking if the author had actually talked to Takeda as he had claimed. It certainly leaves SA open to potential legal action by Takeda/Affymax when certain claims are unsubstantiated.
