I found one where the suit was for 1,700 shares.
Again I'll ask are BlackRock and Fidelity participating?
What is the size of the class?
I know you think once O is relaunched the suits will go away but I'd just like to do some math on the gorilla if you know what I mean. Some people posting here have a real problem with math.
We seem to hear about lawsuits quite a bit. Perhaps this quote applies to the impending bk.
"The size of the lie is a definite factor in causing it to be believed,
for the vast masses of a nation are in the depths of their hearts more
easily deceived than they are consciously and intentionally bad. The
primitive simplicity of their minds renders them a more easy prey to a
big lie than a small one, for they themselves often tell little lies,
but would be ashamed to tell big lies." AH
Last name ends in ilter.
Perhaps this quote applies to Maxdad's and other pumpers' posts crowing about the "big payout" and Takeda's buyout of AFFY for $8 to $30 per share.
With respect to saying it applies to an AFFY bankruptcy, to put the matter kinkdly, you are quite far from the mark. Not only does AFFY's SEC disclosures consistently warn of bankruptcy if O is not returned to the market "in the near future", but TBG in its last press release warns "even though TBG does not intend to ever have its clients file for bankruptcy protection, there can be no assurance that the Company will continue as a going concern or otherwise be able to avoid bankruptcy or dissolution."
