I work at a nearby carwash and I hear and see
things. Things I don't fully understand but are becoming
clearer each day. Much like a clear windshield. And you
thought there weren't great tips working at the car wash?
Guess again banker boys!
The annual report and 10-K, and the recent
earnings release, shows that management is getting all the
bad news into one quarter. The NBOC deal gets CWLZ
into Oregon, opening up a good lending market. (CWLZ
can't branch into Oregon without first buying an Oregon
bank that's been in business for at least 3 years.)
Bay Bank is starting to produce loans in the Seattle
area, another important and booming market.
still has too much capital doing not enough work, but
it's headed in the right direction.
truth about bay bank? What I see is a new bank making
money in less then 6 months. Show me another bank like
it and I'll buy its stock. As I see it Charles had
nothing to do with bay bank - Charles had to do with
Charles !!! Look at the numbers Charles was heading us no
were except into his own pocket and his own free time.
The facts about bay - what facts? Why down the drain!
Speak man, stop with the riddles, some of us have a lot
of money running on this horse.
It's about time Chas. was sent down the road. He
was never qualified for the job in the first place.
Fellow bankers knew this would happen but expected it
sooner rather than later.
Ben is known in the banking
world as Mr. Moffia. Nice title for someone involved in
banking. Kiser is a great guy, but some of the other upper
management have had serious lending problems develop after
they left their prior employers. I've heard Cowlitz
has several borrowers that were problem accounts with
other local institutions and Cowlitz financed them to
increase their portfolio. Things are going good as long as
economy remains like it is now, but with a slight burp
look for loan losses.
Good luck stock holders. Too
much expansion by management that didn't know what the
facts were. The best thing that could have happened
recently was the proposal in Oregon being voted down by
stockholders as I understand that bank has loan problems
you my not what it but some of us are in it for
the long term . If nboc are share holder want to be a
ass, fine lets get it fron fdic when they close them
down, but want it we do its the future-long term !!! go
