Welp, AFFX at 114 and approaching new high territory again. Could have gotten it under $20 a share 15 months ago, airy - or at $15 on the IPO 18 months before that.;)
Feeling charitable towards you and your plight, airy, and knowing how you enjoy buying tech story stocks, here are a couple pending IPOs that you might want to get in after the initial trading dies down (assuming you can't get on the friends&family list to get in on the IPO offering price....) <:) <---Pointyhead symbol
CLPR and MAXY. Like AFFX, both loaded with TONS of intellectual capital. And, unlike TERA, their intellectual capital is COMMERCIALLY RELEVANT!!!
If market conditions don't deteriorate, should place their IPOs in the next month or so.
They are long-term speculative small caps, but, unlike TERA, they have a DECENT prospect for substantial price appreciation over the next 5 years or so. Could help you make amends for your TERA debacle, airy, and regain a small amount of credibility with those poor souls who let you be their "professional money manager."
These stock have the added bonus of BLUE CHIP UNDERWRITERS...like Goldman, Sachs and H&Q, not H.J. Phucing Meyers!!!
