ORI ran to 23.00 in '07 before beginning to decline.
Chart shows price is in an uptrend. I've been invested in this stock since it was at 9.66. Let the winner run! I'm surprised there are not more people on this message board. However, this is a rather quiet stock with only one analyst covering it.
I've been looking closely at ORi for a few weeks and am ready to buy if it drops below 15. I can't understand why there isn't more activity on this board or elsewhere about trhis stock. It seems to be a golden goose! What am I missing?
It's traveling kind of "under the radar" which is where you sometimes find under-valued stocks. Stocks with broad analyst coverage may already be selling pretty much for what they should sell for. However, Cramer and The Street have recommended ORI a couple of times - you find this under headlines.
Good to know I have some company! Not familiar with AEL - can see it's had a good run this year. However, max chart goes back to '04 and it's reached its all-time high. I try to invest in a variety of sectors and only have room for one insurance stock in my portfolio. I've heard it said that stocks do better before they're tooted by analyst. Looks as if that's been true with these. Good luck to you.
