If you like preferred's try JPS. Also, FFC trades on avg 144,000 shares per day. Shouldn't be a problem with execution unless you have a large amount. If after x-div this drops I will be buying more. I really like FFC management. Good luck!
You are missing something OR misunderstand something.
yup, the price of FFC dropped today.
Today is the day you MUST own the shares. EX means EXCLUDING. The first day to sell and get the dividend is the EX date. In this case - sell today no div sell tomorrow get the div. http://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/06/exdividenddate.asp
I have been fooled many times with that rule. Hard to believe but buyers keep buying after x. It could be that much oversold or liked? You may not see 15.13 again. Thanks for the input.
Of course it will drop after X. That's the rule.
