    be honest

IMO, anyone who bailed out yesterday will have another opportunity to get back in, perhaps even lower. Notice the after hours selloff today. There seems to be good support just above 25; if it breaks that we could possibly see the 20 area. Just a guess, of course, but the worst might not yet be over. However, I DID NOT sell yesterday. (If I had done so, it would have hit 35 today.)

    • lol- I wish it would have hit $35 - only been in this stock for a short period of time but boy does it move - I can't figure which way it is going to break but I like the growth potential - one person said on the board buy it and tuck it away - I see why he said that if you watch this too much you will get an headache - Happy Thanksgiving all

      • The volatility on this stock drives me crazy. It's painful, but even at the slightly lower guidance, this is a premier growth situation that you don't often see.

The ATC go-slow is an external event which will pass. It has little to do with how the company is run or whether there's a market for their services. And I don't think Brazilians are any more fearful about unsafe flying, which doesn't apply to GOL anyway, than the rest of the world. There's a large pent-up demand for cheap air travel in a developing economy. Also, the largest growth in GOL's traffic is on international routes, for which buses don't work all that well. Arguing about TAM versus GOL is like arguing about how to have sex. It's all good.

I didn't sell. I wish I had at 35 and picked it up again at 28, but that's hindsight. I'm holding until the growth rate in passenger volume changes. A good management, which GOL has, will get profitability out of it somehow. And the stock price will respond. I hope.
