IF... there is really some plan to take the company private, and IF... this info is correct, then it fits the pattern perfectly of a company in the process of going private. Lowered projections (now called "guidance") and other negative announcements are very commonly used to depress the stock price as much as possible. When the price gets down to $10 and they offer a 50% premium, then they'll look like heros for giving the people who paid $30 a loss of ONLY half their money. With effective control of the company already in the hands of insiders, they can choose the time and price and vote it a done deal. The signs all seem to point in that direction. I dare them to prove me wrong.
