The plane landed in the capital of Pernambuco to 1:30 a.m. yesterday, two hours after the departure of flight 1716, which would lead the group to RN. In Recife, Gol provided vans for the journey of 297 km between the two cities.
Eight passengers, however, have refused to travel, claiming, in addition to the right to air transport security risk on the road because of the schedule.According to them, only to the company 3h those lodged in a hotel. In the morning, still without vacancies on flights, the group boarded a van and reached Christmas to 14h.
In the note, Gol reported that the flight 1728 "delayed due to the excessive air traffic and the ban on the track from Guarulhos airport" and that "as a result of this delay, passengers have opted for connection of inland transport." He said further that provided "all necessary assistance".
HIGHLY VISIBLE AND PUBLISHED FLIGHT--"BAN ON TRACK" IS INFRAERO RESPONSIBLITY.
This is one of the major reasons I refuse to go back to Brasil. I can picture myself getting as far as So Paulo and being stuck there for days while trying to get to Salvador. Also, hostility toward US citizens doesn't help (although I can understand the reasons and even agree with them.)
