Katie Couric just hosted a discussion on colonoscopies and my wife just called me at work when they started talking about the preps. The bad news is that the guest stated that using a small amount of liquid added to 2 liters of soda is the easiest prep because its over quickly. When the guest was questioned about the pills, he said it's an alternative for those people who cannot tolerate salty tasting drinks. But the phospho-soda mixture was pitched as this particular person's choice of prep.
Not exactly the kind of glowing reviews we want! On the Today Show no less!
last year no one mentioned Visicol as an alternative. This year we're the alternative to those who can't stand drinking sea water...oh that's just about everyone!
Next year we'll be the number one choice for prep.
I see this as a positive.
Meek John, you better learn how to decifer good news from bad news. Or, you must be the shortest short in the world.
NBC show was a shot in the arm for colon testing, and Visicol showed well during this update. Word is out, people are slowly making it happen, we will all be winners, including, and mostly, those who can escape this terrible disease.
I am sure there were viewers who didn't know about the pills and now know this is an option. I know from experience that if there was an option to the drink I WOULD DEFINITELY TAKE IT. It made me sick and just the thought of it brings back the memory of drinking 8 oz. every 10 minutes.
The good news on Today, was that Katie slammed Go-Litely, Nu-Litley, as she showed the huge jug she drank last year as a "bad joke". She said there are other alternatives now. Even if those watching say I DON'T WANT THE BIG JUG KATIE HAD, we will gain market share at their expense
Well, I didn't see it, but based on your post it doesn't sound like a "poor review". For a growing company with less than 5% of market share (# procedures), just spell the name right. P-I-L-L-S.
Keep in mind that many people hate Fleets, not just because of the taste but, moreso, because of cramps and the like. Many of them were probably not aware of the pills until they just saw it on The Today Show.
