Positive Article: Hexion could face steep risks in Huntsman bid
I love that article. Look at HPC yesterday. It traded down to 14 and change for a deal worth $18.80 plus .09 ASH. Deal gets voted on today and closes next week. This is one tough market. The Bud deal hit the skids with the stock dropping into the 50s last week for no reason and has since recovered. This is an amazing time for risk takers.
How about this. Apollo buys HUN and banks only refi HUN's debt. Both HUN and Apollo shareholders still throw in some equity, say a billion and merge the two companies later. Minor price concession on the part of HUN to say 22 and the deal is much more appetizing to the banks. What do you think?
