On ABC's Extreme Home Makeover last night, the recipient family received a new F-250 for the dad and a new V-6 Mustang for one of the daughters. The host's show referred to it as a Mustang GT but is was a V-6. The best looking base Mustang in a very long time (it was a silver one). Great advertising.

When I had a Ford, my kid's college money was going toward repair bills. Now that I have a Honda I don't have that problem.
Don't get me wrong. All other things equal, I'd love to buy American, I'd prefer to buy American. But I won't let guilt drive me to buy inferior products if it costs me as much time, money and aggravation as my Ford did.
I actually think it's bad for national security for Americans to buy foreign as much as we do. Not because the money is leaving our borders but because our manuafacturing butt is being kicked.
that probably explains why some New Balance feel better on my feet than others....the shoes that I wore before the 880's were also made in the USA...cannot remember the number as they are in Dearborn and I just have a pair of 880's with me right now.
