and Dearborn is school tax crazy, they are forever having a vote to save the schools. We did manage to not vote one in twice, then they came back at an odd time in March and voted it in. Seems that March is a good time because not as many people vote and a lot of people are down South. I fooled them and applied for an absentee ballot, it did no good. It turned out that they did not need the money, however, they never resinded the tax.
That's my point exactly. People are complaining that their property tax assessments are rising. Imagine how lousy life would be if they were falling. Less taxes, yea, but less equity, less gains, etc.
