I told my girl I drive a Taurus and she
actually dumped me..She said that I would embarrass her next to all of her college-educated friends that drive Acura, Volvo, Honda, etc..I told her that it was not that old (1997) and runs OK but she said to call her when I get successfull..I'm now frantically trying to sell it and buy an Accord or something..Being single in NJ is not easy..Well, at least I'm over 6 feet and have most of my hair still..Jimbo

Why would you want a girlfriend like that, who values appearance over substance? Count yourself lucky you're rid of her, and meet someone who likes you for yourself, not for the car you drive.

A girlfriend will cost you 20% of your income .. a Wife 50% or more .. $20.00 dollars on a rainy nite is the rite way to go.
Get rid of her.

'97 Taurus, well you have to admit, not exactly a magnet. What the hell would you want with that bitch anyhow? I say forget her, get rid of the Taurus and get the hell out of that slum of slums state NJ. Those moves would HAVE to be an improvement.

Lose the Bitch. Move on with someone who has goals. A car should not be a goal or indication. Any car is an expense and a loss. You should have shown her your portfolio. But I guess if you like gold diggers then go for it.
