As a die hard democrat for the past 57 years, I could not vote for Kerry nor can I vote for Obama. What upsets me is the party has such great people and we end up nominating losers for president. Also, on the state level we are also nominating and electing scum bags to offices. It is shocking how many of our elected people should be in jail for either fraud or down right crimes.
Kerry was weak and Gore is a very good vp but not quite president material. He has some good & some bad brain farts. Gore would be good as an adviser or offer solutions but not to lead the way... What turned me off was the vp choices. Kerry's vp was as alive as a rock & no spine.. a wimp. Joe Liberman is a disease, a muppet, a traitor.
"I have to agree that Obama is simply not a viable option for President."
Why not? I want to hear your reasoning and logic for your statment and feelings. If you find you are having a hard time coming up with an articulate reasoning to back your statment it is because the media or someone else has manipulated you to lean that way. If it was your true feeling then you could find a million detailed and convincing reasons.
think about it! Be a free thinker.
No, and most people now realize that. McCain should have picked Tom Ridge as VP, then he would have been competitive in Pennsylvania; would have helped in Ohio also. But he was afraid of the right-to-lifers and fundamentalists. If Obama gets elected, you can thank them and Dubya.
Sarah Palin and the rebirth of America:
She is far superior to Joe Biden, who came in last place when he ran for President in the democratic primaries. He had the least amount of people voting for him than anyone else. Joe Biden even admitted that Hilary Clinton would have been a better choice for VP.
Barack Obama could not even pick the most viable running mate VP, after weeks of deliberation. How is he supposed to run the country?
