    • I saw the link, it is dated 2007 when only about 400 people had signed Senator Inhope's petition.

The latest list (2009) includes 700 scientists, a few of who I've listed:

“I am a skeptic…Global warming has become a new religion.” - Nobel Prize Winner for Physics, Ivar Giaever.

“Since I am no longer affiliated with any organization nor receiving any funding, I can speak quite frankly….As a scientist I remain skeptical...The main basis of the claim that man’s release of greenhouse gases is the cause of the warming is based almost entirely upon climate models. We all know the frailty of models concerning the air-surface system.” - Atmospheric Scientist Dr. Joanne Simpson, the first woman in the world to receive a PhD in meteorology, and formerly of NASA, who has authored more than 190 studies and has been called “among the most preeminent scientists of the last 100 years.”

Warming fears are the “worst scientific scandal in the history…When people come to know what the truth is, they will feel deceived by science and scientists.” - UN IPCC Japanese Scientist Dr. Kiminori Itoh, an award-winning PhD environmental physical chemist.

“I am convinced that the current alarm over carbon dioxide is mistaken...Fears about man-made global warming are unwarranted and are not based on good science.” - Award Winning Physicist Dr. Will Happer, Professor at the Department of Physics at Princeton University and Former Director of Energy Research at the Department of Energy, who has published over 200 scientific papers, and is a fellow of the American Physical Society, The American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the National Academy of Sciences.

Your evidence fails to convince me.

    • now that we know he's driven by religious convictions its easier to understand his inability to grasp the evidence. You're not going to like this next article based on the title but they list every one of the people Inhofe states support his beliefs.

Inhofe's 400 Global Warming Deniers Debunked

      "
Inhofe asserted that "put simply, man-induced global warming is an article of religious faith." Clearly, he hasn't changed his tune.
      "

"What separates Inhofe’s fixation from similar conservative crusades is just how brazenly it ignores what scientists know with confidence about global warming. The United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the National Academy of Sciences, the American Geophysical Union, and the American Meteorological Society all broadly agree on this basic point: Temperatures are rising, at least in part as a result of human greenhouse-gas emissions. According to the World Meteorological Organization, 2004 was the fourth-hottest year since 1861, while the past 10 years (excepting 1996) were "among the warmest 10 years on record."
      "

google each site and judge for yourself.

    • I'm not refuting the validity of the IPCC etc. as an organization. I'm not calling them a hoax, simply questioning their conclusion about CO2 and global warming.

But YOU CLAIM that Senator Inhofe's web site and petition are a HOAX. You STILL refuse to provide ANY DIRECT EVIDENCE to support this claim. I'll believe it when I see it.

    • "purports to be a SCIENTIST"

Gore did not purport to be a scientist. He made a movie based on the scientific evidence. Here's a blurb from your NYT article

      "
and James Hansen, the head of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York and an adviser to Gore’s film,
      "

as far as inhofe goes, where's your evidence against the IPCC, NASA, WH report ?

Google the site of your first link, Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine, I'll google inhofe for you

BONUS google 'string theory' that dyson helped develop

    • It CERTAINLY gives me a pause when a POLITICIAN like Gore makes a movie and purports to be a SCIENTIST. At least Senator Inhope lets the scientists do the talking. And you STILL have not provided any EVIDENCE against Senator Inhope's web site or his PETITION (signed by 700 International Scientists against CO2 & Global Warming).

    • "elLiberato New York Times." bad mouth the NYT all you want. They dont make things up.

      Back to Dyson,
"a mathematics prodigy who came to this country at 23 and right away contributed seminal work to physics by unifying quantum and electrodynamic theory — not only did path-breaking science of his own; he also witnessed the development of modern physics, thinking alongside most of the luminous figures of the age, including Einstein, Richard Feynman, Niels Bohr, Enrico Fermi, Hans Bethe, Edward Teller, J. Robert Oppenheimer and Edward Witten, the “high priest of string theory"

cant argue Dyson's creditials as a physicist but you can argue them where climate change is concerned. Inhofe has no creditials whatsoever. How ever, NASA has creditials in this field, so does the White House report on global warming, so does the IPCC, so does the CCSP.

Now, I know all about Inhofe, have you ever heard of these reports from NASA, WH, IPCC, CCSP from your fair and balanced news sources?

Dont the links that I have supplied in my previous posts give you any pause?

    • Arrogance has no bounds with Prez Obigmouth. Problem with global warming? Gee, we did such a great job with Katrina, Social Security, the U.S. Tax Code, Afghanistan/Iraq, and policing Wall street; guess we're up for a little challenge like managing the globes entire climate!!! How about we just stop producing so much CO2 and other pollutants? Or, as Nestle has made billions in the bottled water market, are we going to open markets for companies donating to PACs to sell us bottled air?

    • Here's another article...is this also a hoax? Or is Mr. Gore (Mr. Politician) flying around in his private jet, a hoax?

Again, that is a link to Inhofe's blog. He's no more an authority on global warming than posts from the people above. Even his fake looking news article doesnt offer any links or factual information.

Your deluded theory based on Inhofe's efforts need to account for what Nasa and the White House report state. Your theory just kinda pretends those things dont exist.

You believe Inhofe, I believe the actual scientists. If I'm wrong we use less oil, cause less pollution & recycle more. What if you and Inhofe are wrong?

    • Be more worried about the next ice age as this current interglacial warm period of 15,000 years is about the length that they persist on average whereas the ice ages are more like 90,000 year in length. There have been o the order of 10 ice ages in the last 1 million years and the last ended 15,000 years ago. I have rocks in my yard that were deposited by a glacier. They are linked with a earth rotation processional phenomenon. There was a recent Russian article saying that this current warm period is about over. No one argues that CO2 from man's camp fires caused the last ice age to end.
