    More Confident About Ford

I don't agree that China will ultimately make all the cars. The US has more stringent envrironmental laws than China.

    • The Chinese are building new state of the art car factories. Their cars will meet US standards and will be produced at a fraction of the cost just like TV sets due to cheap labor. Ross Perot was right when foretold of that "Giant sucking sound". American industry is collapsing due to cheap foreign labor. That boom in the Chinese economy is occuring at the expense of the American worker. Big business wants the american worker to be able to compete with chinese worker. Translation: Big Business wants the american worker to live in poverty just like the chinese worker by working for little or nothing. It all boils down to a fight between the fatcats on Wallstreet and the little guy represented by labor. From 1910 to 1990 this country protected and helped the little guy prosper. After 1990, the worker lost everything with all the free trade agreements designed to help the rich get richer. The middle class is being destroyed because american industry is being outsourced. Over the long term, that is why I believe there will be no domestic car industry in 10-20 years.
