We did. The price on the Taurus was $33K. We paid $31K for the slightly used TL.
Didn't matter since we would never had bought the Taurus after the test drives. If we had to we would have bought an Accord which we have owned 1 other that we still have with over 230K miles on it as a third car. If you have ever owned a Honda then you know how reliable these cars are.
Owning the stock and the product itself have nothing to do with each other. I find it funny how anyone who states the truth about the actual product on this board is bashed since they do tell the truth about it. You just want people to say how great it is regardless of what it is. The fact is that we both said the same thing about the car. The products across the board haven't changed much at all. I see no reason to buy an inferior product for the same or more money with less service. Makes no sense.
Although I.m in the minority, I care a hell of a lot more about my country than how many pennies I can save on buying a foriegn brand auto! But then, I am a real american, not a loser basher. Peace.
He's paying the taxes and got a good deal on better car. That's as American as it gets. Enjoy that Acura they are great cars! This guy is probably driving a Crown Vic or something like it. The "new" Ford better get something better on the market or the love is going to quickly leave and start buying Toyota's again.

A statement like that leads me to believe that you had no intention of buying the Taurus in the first place.
