Actual Unemployment at 10.5%....Why Is Obama Even Allowed to Run for President Again??

Economists, analyzing government data, estimate about 4 million fewer people are in the labor force than in December 2007, primarily due to a lack of jobs rather than the normal aging of America's population. The size of the shift underscores the severity of the jobs crisis.

If all those so-called discouraged jobseekers had remained in the labor force, August's jobless rate of 8.1 percent would have been 10.5 percent.

    • drcDipSH, look at the facts: You w DOUBLED Clinton's unemployment rate:
Department of Labor Monthly Unemployment rates:
Feb 2001 – First month of w’s unemployment rate was 4.2%
Feb 2009 – First month of Obama’s unemployment rate was 8.3%
August 2012 – Current month of Obama’s unemployment rate is 8.1%

      W: 7.8 – 4.2 = 3.6
      3.6 / 4.2 = 85.71% unemployment rate INCREASE under W.
      Obama: 8.3 – 8.1 = (0.2)
      (0.2) / 8.3 = (2.41% ) unemployment rate DECREASE under Obama.
      JUST THE FACTS!!!!

      • The number of underemployed is double under Obama. It's really 10.5% by comparison. How does that fit your theory? Market lower than under Bush high. However, if you want to play the numbers game, the average unemployment rate under Bush was about half of the average under Obama, even by your queer estimates. See below chart. Add....divide...be depressed.
Also, it was a know fact that Obama had an insurmountable lead in the polls in October of 08, the day that was announced, the market collapsed. Connect the dots.

      • So....4 years later.....we're ALMOST back to where the market was under Bush. Plus, the market has never been much of an idicator as to where we are headed. When Ben can print an endless stream of money to prop it up, it's a bit hollow don't you think? The 23 million people not working really don't care too much about the marke, or those living on foodstamps. Neither, do the 100 milllion Americans living on some form of government assistance.

    • Economists, analyzing government data, estimate about 4 million fewer people are in the labor force than in December 2007, primarily due to a lack of jobs rather than the normal aging of America's population. The size of the shift underscores the severity of the jobs crisis.

There is only one question Rebublicans need to answer.

Why President G.W.Bush and Vice-President Cheney did not speak at the Rebublican Convention.

Gov. Jesse Ventura gave the answer on T.V.

"They engineered the near economic disaster and The Rebublican Party is deathly afraid that the populace would make the association "

Every time a Rebublican speaks ask him/her the same question they know the answer only too well.

      Israel and Jewish voters
We have a potentially volatile situation but we sort of live with it, and we kick the ball down the field and hope that ultimately, somehow, something will happen and resolve it. We don't go to war to try and resolve it imminently.
Another group of voters that Mitt Romney has had trouble reaching – in spite of repeated attempts – is Jewish voters. Poll after poll shows Obama with a wide margin in support, as Democrats have traditionally enjoyed. But a recent Gallup poll published by Buzzfeed Politics put it at 70% for Obama and just 25% for Romney.
The relationship of American Jews to Israel is a complex and multi-faceted one, but it's hard to imagine many shades of Jewish opinion finding something to celebrate in Romney's remarks on the Israel-Palestine issue: in essence, shrugging it off.
The hawks – who would approve of Romney sabre-rattling remarks regarding Iran – would prefer more full-throated support from a American presidential candidate. But the majority, especially those who favour a two-state solution, would be unhappy with Romney's remarks that "the pathway to peace is almost unthinkable to accomplish," having rattled off a weak series of objections, and appearing to think that the West Bank borders on Syria.
The idea that a US president would merely punt on the most difficult issue in modern geopolitics – which is what kicking the ball down the field means – is among the most extraordinary remarks to come out of these tapes.

Believe in Robmey's or Yoder's America but keep you money in Swiss or Cayman Island accounts. You too might pay 13% or swim nude in the Sea of Galilee.

Let's all join in a few choruses of Mitt's new marching song:

      God bless the Cayman's
      Banks that I love
From the mountains to the prairies
To the oceans white with foam
I'm sailing in my yacht to take my money home.

No applause please. just send contributions to Re-Elect President Obama.

    • Even Obama says the unemployment rate remains stubbornly high because too many people are looking for JOBS! LOL!!!

      THE AMATEUR!!!
