Two of the three you mention I would have to question the official story but this message board is about Ford.
Stock price is low on current fundamentals regardless of your feelings on the U.S. automakers global status. Japs were making inroads since the 70's with U.S., primarily GM, losing ground since that period. The U.S. no longer dominating the auto industry didn't happen in just the last year or two. PPS is about current situation and the market position of the particular equity. On a global profile, Ford has much more room to grow in China than the big leaders GM and VW who have been well established for many years. Ford way behind the curve but establishing a significant presence in China as they ramp production capacity and dealership network. P/E being compressed has little to do with U.S. vs. foreign maker status. Past Ford management can be to blame for delayed entry into the now largest automarket in the world. All Mullaly can do is try to correct that blunder of foresight.
So you don`t think these big dogs don`t manipulate the markets? We all just witnessed it in 2008 with the mortgage/housing scam by the Wall Street banksters.Con artists run the world. There is no question about it.
