Unempl rate decline-Social Security Disability-The disabled are not counted as employable-More people find more things wrong-Getting cotton candy at a county fair

Social Security is reporting that the number collecting social security disability checks has increased dramatically in the past 14 years. In 1998 4,698,319 collected checks at the end of the year. At the end of 2012 the number collecting disability social security checks was 8,827,795--not quite a double. The population went from 270 million to 310 million during that period of time. The checks from social security do vary in dollar amount but it does remove them from the participation rate of the able body employable workforce. Expect the unemployment rate to continue to decline as more people collect disability social security. It still not quite as easy as buying cotton candy at a county fair but the numbers are pointing to a program of easy handouts to many that have dreamed up or worked an imperfect problem to the statisfaction of the doctors at social security.

    • Check out a recent Dateline on "kidnapping/extortion" -- story of a Northern Florida woman who faked being kidnapped and tried extorting money.

What Dateline didn't tell you is the husband of the woman (who does business exclusively with Medicaid) runs a "home health care" company in Northern Florida and he's making obscene profits from Medicaid --- enough to pay his $28K monthly mortage and then some.

The government is broken and completely out of control
