Fords next truck will be all aluminum and get 27.5mpg highway and get a 0-60 of 8sec from what I'm hearing.
The Dodge is a 5000lb pig you'll be as likely to get 25mpg in that thing as you can expect more than 6 months of use before that Italian Fiat POS truck falls apart around you.
Just found out the Dodge is made in Mexico (turns this buyer OFF). Will probably just go with the Kentucky made Super Duty --- although I'm still very concerned about the Ford diesel engines.
Ford needs to go with a diesel supplier and stop trying to vertically integrate its supply chain (Mulally knows better).
I know they also have a hydrogen powered engine plant (it's already "flying") and are working on CNG with Westport (I think)..........Ford's diesels don't have a stellar reputation --- with the exception of the 7.3s and 6.4s from Int'l they used..........6.0L and 6.7L are nothing but problems
