You are right on. With more than $6 per share in cash and great earnings this would be a prime candidate for a private equity firm. But knowing the "Ford luck" we would get like $12 per share, the PEF would take it private and then take it public for $25 per share in 2014.

With $24 Billion Cash, ONLY $10 Billion Debt (Ford Credit Debt is backed by leases) and $8 Billion in Earnings and above all run by a Ford.
