Fox News' credibility has fallen 9 percent since three years ago, according to new Public Policy Polling (PPP) results released on Wednesday.
The annual poll asks participants to rate their trust in multiple networks including Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, PBS, Comedy Central, ABC News, CBS News and NBC News. According to PPP's press release:
"Just like its actual ratings, Fox News has hit a record low in the four years that we've been doing this poll. 41% of voters trust it to 46% who do not. To put those numbers into some perspective the first time we did this poll, in 2010, 49% of voters trusted it to 37% who did not."
Just like last year, researchers also found that Fox News is both the least trusted and most trusted network when compared to the other networks in the survey. Thirty-four percent said they trust Fox News the most, while 39 percent said they trust it the least.
I'm beginning to see the beginning of a shake up at Fox News. Slowly they are introducing more liberal hacks. I'm afraid that after Fox has been turned into another liberal slush fund for the President independent journalism will be gone forever. Oh well, just do what I will do when that happens, don't trust anyone. Whatever the Media says believe the opposite to be true. We government critics learned along time ago about government sponsored media from Pravda.
Fox News was one big infomercial for GW Bush, Cheney and company. Without fox, GW would never had a second term in office. You have to hand it to them though, they were very good and americans bought it. But I guess you can only sell it for so long because sooner or later people realize what they bought and stop buying it.
I stand by my post. Under no circumstances do I force myself to listen to "stuff" I know is simply not true. Unfortunately some I grew up with and have known through many years buy into all this ultra conservative nonsense. To the point we simply cannot discuss politics and remain friends. Some ran out buy more guns - which I simply do not understand. Several now have concealed gun license - I assume because they're afraid - and I cannot figure out what they are afraid of. And even more sadly, they hate President Obama and it's a race issue. Which they won't admit. And it's been a race issue from day one. During our 50th high school class reunion picnic last fall, I overheard a group of the guys using the "n" word during their conversation to describe President Obama. Oh well. Disgraceful.
