A Republican Insider Talks The Tea Party

WASHINGTON- A Republican insider who attended the Senate Republican Conference discussed ways in which the House and Senate can coordinate their efforts to win future elections.

The biggest subject discussed was how the Republican party should distance themselves from the extreme right wing, the tea party, and their racists and bigoted ways.

"They are ruining the Republican brand and the sooner we speak up and inform the American voters that they don't speak for the Republican party the quicker we can rebuild ourselves,' The insider said.

He pointed to an example of exactly what he meant leading up to the November presidential election.

"Had the Republican party focused on the economy and the high unemployment numbers at that time leading up to the election it's a good possibility Mitt Romney would be president today. What happened was that the extreme right kept up the "Benghazi" attack and kept trying to pin the attack on President Obama when the majority of voters knew better." "This we believe, cost Romney the election," he added.

    • again.

    • Us smart Democrates peples must continue to attack them con peples and forget them issues. THAT isnhow we win!

    • Baloney. The republicans have been selling the american people the same garbage for over 30 years. Give the rich tax breaks and the extra money they spend will trickle down to the little people. Trickle is an understatement. The reason why the republicans failed is because they lost crediblity. People began to see that their arguments had no real substance and were just false justification for continuing tax breaks despite continued and worsening deficits, continued spending and two wars. Now blaming it on the tea party is their new strategy. Baloney again. If the republicans really wanted to win they would not have chosen palin and ryan as running mates for their presidential candidates. Lets see what happens in 2016 when Jeb Bush runs for president. My bet is that his choice for vp will be alot stronger and more targeted towards the democrats and independents than the two conservative wingdings that the two previous campaigns gave us.

    • Ironically the tea party is way more popular with Republican voters than the *normal* Republicans. So basically the Republican monster is screaming that its scaly right arm needs to cut off its left arm. Aka the only normal human part of it left.

And the funny part of this whole wingnut charade is wingnuts continue to regurgitate the Benghazi bullschit. There's no doubt about it. Thanks to these tin foil hat wearing wingers the Democrats will no doubt give the Republicans another azzwhipping in 2014.

      ====

For the last few years, Limbaugh and other right-wing fanatics on Hate radio were screaming for republicans and their political "leaders" to become even MORE conservative, more stubborn, more strident - and far less agreeable. Their cry was: NEVER compromise.... on ANYthing.

And now that Americans are suffering from a disabling case of indigestion brought on by what these nutty, extremist republicans have served up, some of the more sane GOPers are saying, "let's distance ourselves from our creation". Lotsa luck GOP, your whack-jobs have poisoned your party.

But, as far as the tea party is concerned, it was NEVER a grass roots organization. The tea party is a complete fabrication, a phony organization created by the #$%$ brothers and other One Percent republican nut-jobs to push their own agenda.

The imbecilic individual tea party members are brought together as needed, their actions and agenda are always choreographed by their puppeteers: the #$%$ brothers and other like-minded traitors. It's a testament to their massive ignorance that the only people who seem blissfully unaware that the tea party is a total sham - is the tea party members themselves.

Today's GOP / Tea Party is like a giant zoo - a zoo housing people who display the most disgusting, aberrant, and abhorrent speech and behavior imaginable. No wonder the few intelligent, moderate republicans who still exist, want to distance themselves from these sickening freaks.

    • "This we believe cost Romney the election."

And plenty more elections before they pass away and a viable Republican not affiliated with the tea party comes forward and draws the sane Republicans back to the party.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • LMAO---It wasn't just repeating the "Benghazi" that cost those wingers the election. It was all their bullschitsky combined that did those freaks in. And I for one personally hope that they continue doing so right up to all future elections.

Thanks for help getting Obama re-elected to ANOTHER four years, a**holes.
