I'm starting a new topic and it is about Ford as an investment
Everyone can have a way to tell if the automoble manufactures are doing well in 2013. Not only Ford.
#1 I consider the ages of cars on the road. 10+ years and counting.
#2 I watch for paper tags on new cars. DO YOU?
This has been a depressed industry for years. IMHO I think the tide has turned.
Regarding Ford's move in the market today, I feel it was very positive. Although with low volumn it was in the green all day, even when the market was at it's lowest point. Not a bad sign.
Although I don't know how the rest of the country is doing, but where I'm at many, many cars have paper plates. Some used but most new.
Disclosure, the majority of my car investments is in F and some in GM. (Govt. Motors)
