    Buying a new Ford??

Other than the Mustang, what do they have worth buying?? All they sell is shoebox cars and they'll depreciate faster than you can say M I S S I S S I P P I. The new Lincoln?? YIKES!! There are a lot of good choices out there, but ford is not one of them. I don't think they've made a sedan worth buying since 63 1/2....

    • I'd suggest a Smart car but you could not handle it either mentally or physically

      • i did buy a car a few months ago. A white 77 Trans Am with a rebuilt 400 with #16 428 heads and a rebuilt 350 trans with a NICE shift kit. It also has a rebuilt rear end with 373 gears, so it's a little rocket around town. The owner was also nice enough to throw in 8 additional stock honeycomb wheels. It handles and drives excellent. It's a gem and he let me have it for under 6k. This one is a SMART car and it's never going to be for sale. I had a NICE, ORIGINAL, Black 69 Mach I, M code 351W, 4-speed car for 21 years and this Trans Am is every bit as good as the Mach I, if not better. I also gave my Son a RED 69 Mach I, S code 390, 4-speed car for his high school graduation and if I want to drive a Mach I, it's a phone call away. If you run across a 69 Dart GTS with a 383 under the hood, I might be interested. Is there anyone on this ford board that knows anything about cars?? ...

    • Then go buy what you want. Sounds like you would be good in a Dodge Dart buy don't forget your step stool so you can get into the car.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy
