The 28th will change gun ownership laws.

Why are the republicans so ignorant?

    • Because it wouldn't take a amendment. Gun ownership laws have NEVER been this ridiculous. Even George W. Bush was against what has evolved...............and brain dead, republicans are saying the "right to bear arms" means any arm. Including the right to build atomic weapons by a individual that would take out the city.

    • Wow, I'm actually quite surprised by this comment. For being the dumbest person on this board, at least even you realize it would take a Constitutional Amendment to be able to infringe on the 2nd. Not even the liberals who are a little less brain dead understand that. What is slightly funny is that you actually think an amendment restricting guns would ever pass 2/3 of the states.

Confiscation = Civil War. Fair warning.

    • It takes 2/3 of the States to vote in favor that will be a cold day. You Liberals need to read the Constitution provided you can read. You think you can get 2/3 of the Red States alone to ratify the change? You are dreaming. Do you think the 300 guns in the USA the owners are going to give up the ownership in them?

Do want another Syria USA no guns just bricks and stones against Guns, tanks, fully armed government driven army No problem they can cut loose chemicals that kill on touch, breathing, and you want to turn our freedoms over?

      Sentiment: Buy

    • Did "Prohibition" work? Will people obey a 28th amendment? Is there a driver who can honestly say the've never driven faster than the posted speed limit?

If I may respond to your questions:
Prohibition did not work neither does the War on Drugs both were/are examples of attempts to legislate morality.
What will the 28th Amendment comprise.
Probably everyone has broken the posted speed limits.
If your examples are supposed to bolster resistance to any modification regarding the Second Amendment they fail.
Gun legislation is not attempting to legislate morality.
There is no 28th Amendment as yet so the question is moot.
There are nationwide/state/local speed limits and legislation of all motor vehicles are there not.
I do hope this passes your definition of adult discussion.
I own weapons and have no problem with the most stringent background checks and nationwide data base and cannot understand the objections.
