If you really need to ask this question...lol at you.
Why should it be? Because cheap energy is what our economy needs to thrive. It helps everyone (especially the poorest least well off people), makes it cheaper to do things, you know, like going to the movies, driving to the store to buy groceries, or delivering goods across the country, etc. Energy prices affect the price of just about everything. It's just smart to keep energy prices as low as possible, which increases economic activity hugely, etc etc.
The question is how to keep it low. First of all, you need a president who doesn't want them purposely unnecessarily high for his own personal political views, a president who wants the country to succeed and grow. One whose "all of the above" energy policy is actually all of the above, and not some bs slogan. Drilling the massive amounts of oil and gas we have right here at home would be a good place to start.
The poor people you libs claim to care about are the ones hurt the worst by high energy prices. What is so hard to understand about that? Why do you hate the poor?
