It sure took them long enough. Many people could have been advised to buy before this. However its still a good time 'cause its going higher.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I think part of it is the market finally realizes that the Fed's money-printing party will be coming to an end ... so now, finally, we get back to focusing on stock fundamentals(and Ford's fundamentals are very good!).
Hi, muffin! another good, long-term poster. YAY! Ford/F will most likely go higher LONG-TERM. The dividends stopped the short's deep takedowns , and now the media is on-board? YAY.
SHORT-TERM-- Whether or not F consolidates first or dips first is unknown. LEAPs (long-lived calls, some sold in the way-too-deep 2011 dip) soon expire, about the same time Ford's quarterly numbers come out. That means you need to keep cash and/or, if skipping that, at least set stop-losses high and move shares out of margin accounts into cash accounts (dealer can help).
Have a good Fourth!

No, the american consumer has finally rediscovered ford. For the first time in years you are seeing more and more ford cars on the road. For way too long it was just toyotas and hondas. Its now in fords hands to keep the momentum going and not blow it like they did once before. Keep the quality up and the sales will follow. Ford may have finally got past the fix or repair daily phase.
Ford sales and profits have been up for many quarters, they have been on the rise for some time, the stock however has not responded until now. I say wall street was a little slow to realize this complete and beautiful turnaround, and by the way their quality was up a long time ago. I can say that for my garage has been loaded with Fords for a long time.
