    Valero Energy (VLO) Undervalued

When Cramer says sell I buy when he says buy I sell. i want to know how much he makes from market makers/investment bankers? I began buying Valero even when he didn't recommend and he did the same thing with Conoco. if I would have listened I would have lost $14 a share profit! I ownValero and its still a bargain at its current level.

    • I too watch Cramer almost daily. While I am less amused by is entertainment antics, I do feel he is extremely sharp and knowledgeable about the market. However, he comments upon almost all 10,000 stocks, and I feel almost no-one can be an expert on everything in the market. So one must always take his comments with a grain of salt ...

    • I watch Cramer every evening. If he says anything about anything I own I immediately re-evaluate it. Normally he is behind the times but not always.
I've never made any money with his picks but then I'm not a day-trader. I don't buy a stock to make .25 a share profit. Mostly, medium to long-term dividends only. I figure I'm not smart enough to play the cap-gains game since the rules change every 30 seconds and you can't get reliable info in a timely manner.

      • Cramer is for entertainment purposes only. He is a comedian and his recomendations are the jokes. Enjoy the fluster and buster makes for good fun but never serious investing or trading. I have no opinion on VLO, but for COP I think this will be a $75 dollar stock once the restructuring transaction from LukOil is completed. There is still value to be found at COP....

    • Agree with you on Cramer, too often he goes with flavor of the day stocks. He misses on a lot.

Do not have any faith in his predictions.

VLO is coming along fine & should do better when oil above $120
