Real reason behind the huge drop?
Hello, board, I was attracted to COP from fundamental stand point, without knowing any of it's history. Could you please steer me in right direction to better understand what caused the big drop in share price that happened in May?

Not technically a "stock split" but the
effect is the same, down $17.56 reflecting the huge payout.
Made me happy !

I see the big drop (70+ to 50+) on the Yahoo charts, and just a little slide (54 to 51 or so) on the charts from other services ((FinViz, Morningstar) - whose charts are correct??? Funny.

Falling energy prices.
I wouldn't count on them to continue to fall, though.
