Currently banks are paying out about 1% annual interest on savings accounts. COP is currently paying out an annual 5% rate in dividends, with a great chance of adding another annual 5% gain in pps, over the long term.
Let's see, where should I invest my savings. Bank saving accounts or COP?
People........financial stocks are getting hammered today, especially JPM.
COP is holding up okay.
Mr. Market is not taking that health care ruling very well.
Latest German unemployment figures show that German unemployment is moving higher. Not good news people.
I would be surprised to see Germans handing over their hard earned tax player money to Spain and Italy, regardless of what Hollande and France wants them to do. Not unless fiscal integration first occurs (will take time)or else Merkel passes away.
Thankyou.....thankyou very much!!!! Have a wonderful day!!!!
Banks & financials are likely to be more volatile if you ask me. They've had a pretty good run since 08, but will probably get hit harder than COP or other divvy plays if we see a relapse in the economy.
