If global warming causes massive crop losses,
year after year, how will it effect my portfolio? I have a lot in COP.

here is what bothers me most about the global warming freaks, lets say GW is true then why send all the jobs and production from this country that has regulations to countries that will global warm 5X as fast, after all it is a globe why not relax the regulations somewhat and reduce total global warming. What do they have to gain by pushing an agenda that is unproven and losing us many jobs when their efforts produce the opposite of what they claim they are fighting for???

Then I will plow up my back yard and plant a vegetable/fruit garden that will sustain my needs. One of the greatest attributes of human beings is that they can adapt. I can take care of myself.

Ethanol is the reason why gas mileage gets worse. I lost about 40 miles per tank because they starting using that garbage.

Global warming (if it exists!), will cause more hurricanes! Either way, the world is not going to be using less oil after China and Africa and India get going!

So sit back and continue to enjoy. Oil is going up or is stable. Ethanol on the other hand is man made and is supported by this government. At some point in time it will stop supporting and corm, maze, will again become human and animal food.

Every time that I think of Al Gore reaping all of the grant money and the Anointed One running the country, independent of the input from the House and Senate, it makes me cringe.
I lived under FRD's administration, and all since him and have never seen such a red herring as global warming and all of the BS about how we are running out of oil....So we must distill our food supply in order to run cars that are being antiquated by the electric cars produced by General Moters, who is eating us alive in taxes.
Electric cars use electricity that is 80% produced by Carbon fuel.....shesshhhh. It's kinda like saying we dont need farmers and their cows....we get our milk products at the local gorcery store.
People still believe the politicians who push this crapp and will vote for the same ones who tell the lies....Simpletons, all.

If the price of ethonal increases oil companies will simply recoup the cost via product price . Little effect on the bottom
line. Hopefully the repubs get in and reduce
ethonal requirements.
