Its probably easy to predict that late this week after the release on Wednesday and/or after the call on Thursday morning the price will move. However, I remained baffled by the direction.
On many value measures DAVE is not expensive as of the Friday close at 6.68. However, its the thinness of the trading that should strike fear in anyone with a short time horizon.
Nevertheless, I plan to put on some more long DAVE positions and then be prepared to absorb a hit on Thursday. The reasoning is simple. If some disclosure or event drives the stock the other way, i.e. up, there won't be a chance to get in before the move.
I realize this plan demonstrates the chronic pitfall behavior of the bullish-biased small investor. My justification is simply that I don't yet have a full plate of DAVE and believe this company has a future.
Between now and Wednesday's close, if I see anything that dissuades me of this plan, or to the contrary, something that persuades me to adopt a more aggressive plan, I will act accordingly.
