Performance does not support this. You can bet the other top executives were given benefits to keep them 'in-line' with the CEO. What performance metric supports this change in compensation? Doubling the stock price...NO, the stock price is -50% from its past decade value. Next stockholder election - VOTE TO REPLACE ALL OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. Outrageous.
Good points. Saw Spaldo44 also mention the compensation packages in another post. Love the BBQ, and attracted to the company potential, but the level of performance share compensation is disturbing IMHO. I would also like to see them reduce the debt some more.
