All those shares you and your buddies shorted between 7.10 and 8.10 on 4/29 are already sucking gas. Close at 8.08 today. All of the shares shorted that day are already under water. As you close your positions the stock price will go only up back to where it was before you all showed up. Of course the million shares already shorted as of 4/26 are sitting fine, but they will be cashing out and pushing this back up also.
And on the side line are those of us who continue to take our huge dividends and do not worry about all you short term zero sum game gamblers who will be gone in no time.
I did not hear the conference or read the transcript but from what i'm reading here it sound like ol koo man choo sent a warning shot to all his customers that if they try to grind his price down any more he will shut down production until they pay koo the fair price. This is all just normal marketing flavor of the week. Koo is a tough codger and he will get his price. The customer know that NTE is a quality assembler and long term supplier to the industry. As long as business grows NTE will grow also. Be back to old highs in 3-4 months. This will all be a memory.
